The 10-km roadway has been adapted to its environmentally-sensitive surroundings to connect the Motza area with Har-Heret, Hadassah-Ein-Kerem Hospital, Reches Lavan and Road 39 - the southwest entrance to Jerusalem.
AmAv Environmental Planning has prepared preliminary drafts of environmental documentation for Ayalon Highways Company regarding a motorway connection between north Tel-Aviv and the Sharon region. The primary issue to be addressed was the coordination between the road design and the various other major infrastructure projects in the corridor.
AmAv Transportation Planning Ltd is preparing nationwide guidelines for the design of bicycle facilities in the forests, streams and open areas under the jurisdiction of the forest service Keren Kayemet Leyisrael (KKL). The guidelines include design standards for various grades of trails (family and sport) in accordance with the types of terrain (rolling and mountainous) etc, including physical design, drainage, signage, adjunct facilities, and criteria for thresholds of difficulty and types of crossings. The guidelines devote special attention to environmental protection and design.
